Everyone made it home safe and sound from the hospital today. Angela is doing great and recovering fine. Eliana is doing great and likes to cry a lot between the hours of 1am-4am. It is so amazing being parents finally and helps us understand in a deeper way the love that God has towards us His children. Soooooo cool!!!!

The Family

Welcoming into the world: Eliana Grace Blau

After being 11 days late and after two days of trying to be induced Eliana Grace Blau finally arrived into the world through a c-section. Weighing in at 8.8 pounds and sorry no length (daddy wasn't paying attention to the Thai), Eliana arrived at 6:20 last night. Mom and baby are doing great although a little tired. The doctors and nurses were great and we have had a really good experience at the Lanna Hospital here in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Angela, Oum and Oum's Mom

Here is a picture of Oum and her mom. We have been so blessed to know Oum's family from our time in Lopburi and we will be sad to have to say goodbye to Oum again for another year. Oum spent the last year in the US as an au pair for a family in Maryland. She leaves for England in a week to spend the next year studying English there. Pray for Oum and her family as she leaves next week. As you can also tell, no baby yet... We go back to the hospital on Tuesday if nothing has happened yet and then the doctor said that he will induce on Wednesday.

Chiang Mai Zoo

Today we went to the Chiang Mai Zoo with Oum and her mom. Oum and her mom came to visit us for the day from Central Thailand before Oum goes to England to study for a year. We went to see the Panda exhibit which is a popular spot for Thai people and tourists to go visit. We had a great time with them. Here is a picture of one of the pandas.
