Oum's Parents Visit

Oum's parents from Lopburi came to visit us for the past couple of days here in Chiang Mai. We really had a wonderful time with them and are always so encouraged when we get to spend time with them. If you can remember, Oum is Angela's good friend from Lopburi who is currently working in England. Her parents call us their foreign children and we really feel like they are part of our family now. I can remember when we first met them how I was nervous when we went out to dinner that I would do something culturally wrong, but now it just feels like spending time with family. We had some good talks with them too which was great. Keep praying for them and for Oum as she is in England and plans to come back to Thailand next year.

Eliana doesn't usually warm up to strangers very fast, but she loved Oum's parents.

This sign is a little sketchy. Can you even find the way to the waterfall after enjoying the fresh flowers?

I don't know whose mom this is, but it definitely isn't mine. My mom is beautiful!

The Powerlifter

We can't believe how big she is getting. We took her to the doctor last week to get an immunization and she is officially twice her birth-weight now. She loves to stand up (with help) and she is constantly talking, but she hasn't figured out crawling just yet. I think in a week or two and she will be moving around the house.

Eliana says this is a lot lighter than it looks. You just need to put your back into it and open your mouth really wide like you want to chew on the bar.

Is this Eliana's first driving lesson or an advertisement for Future Truckers of America?

Look at all that fur for me to rip out!! Eliana loves our cat Domino. A lot more than Domino loves Eliana.
