Story Time With Eliana

Every night we have story time before Eliana goes to bed. Usually John is the one reading the story, but tonight Eliana decided to take over Daddy's job. Here is Eliana's version of the story...

Last weekend we had a great visit from Oum and her mom. This was the first time in over a year that we got to see Oum and it was really good to be able to catch up with her, especially since she is leaving in a few days to go back to the US to study her master's degree in California. Here are some pictures from their visit. We are praying for Oum as she goes back to study in the US for the next two years.

It's A Boy!

Well, we have been back in Thailand for 3 days now and have been adjusting to life back here. It feels so good to be back, although it is taking some adjustment getting used to the heat and humidity again. It really feels like home here now and it is so good to be back in our house. We are still unpacking our stuff, but it is slowly getting back to the way everything looked before we left.

Also we went to the hospital today to see Doctor Udom and have an ultrasound. As soon as the doctor started the ultrasound, right away she asked whether we wanted to know if it was a boy or a girl. We said that we did and she showed us in the first few seconds that Baby Blau is a boy! So for the 95 percent of people who said they thought it was a boy, you are right. Everything was normal on the ultrasound and the doctor said that he will probably schedule Angela for another c-section on the 2nd of January.

Thanks so much for all you guys who have been praying for us! We had such a great time back in the States reconnecting with many of you over meals and desserts and just spending quality time together. You guys are awesome and we love all you!
